Friday's Fences_June 22, 2012_"Fences and Flowers"

At our place we have a 3 board fence along the front and sides. I like the rustic, country look of it and, no way would I ever want to trade for anything more fancy or elegant!

This week I was taking pictures

of the Crepe Myrtle bushes that we have planted, both inside and outside the fence. This time of year they give us quite a colorful display!

My little poodle,

"Emma Rose,"

watched me from the safety of the enclosed courtyard garden area.

Here are several views of the flowers and fence!

Enjoy!

Lots of rustic fence scenes at Our Place - just the way I like it!

~This is  our house, looking from across the road in front. This shows the rustic board fence and the old wheels that serve to make a boundary to outline the wildflower meadow~

~my beloved wildflowers~

It's a good thing that  I prefer things natural and not too "ordered,"  as we are not able to keep things  spruced up as we once did on this old farm!

~We once had goats in this fence enclosure...nothing lives there now-except the flowers!~

~This is another fence in  our back yard, on the west side. The flowering small trees are called "English Dogwood." They do look a bit like the regular Dogwood flowers, but smaller.~

~My cats like to hang out in this area and climb or lounge on the old logs here.~

As John Denver  once said...

"Life on the farm is kinda laid back..."

I don't have any new pictures but I remembered these farm fencing photos I had taken  in the past and thought they would make an interesting post.

Enjoy!
