My husband and I enjoy collecting 'old stuff ' and I always like to find a way to put whatever we find to good use.

We have 2 of these old Gypsy pots that we've had for a long time and I like to put potted flowers in them to compliment each season.

I especially like these pots in the fall holding autumn colors-and then at Christmas with Poinsettias!

For now this one is decked out with spring/summer flowers!

Oh!
We could paint that pot....
but I like the old, weathered rust!

This is the magnificent Magnolia bloom!
I love the contrast of that red center to the creamy white flower.

I look forward to these pretty pink and delicate puffs of flowers and the fern like foliage of this tree.

I have always known this flowering tree as 'Mimosa' but the true name is 'Silk Tree.'

This attractive tree is classified as a *'nuisance' plant* and it is recommended that it not be planted in yards!


Oh - but I find this tree very beautiful and we have let a few grow up on our place!

~ My mom loved these trees, too,
adding to the sentimental feelings I have for them.~

This is reaching backward to the early 80s...
a picture of me and my sweet little Poodle Boy, 'Nappy.'



This was in Miami on our patio.
This patio was just partially covered with a roof, and the rest in open beams;
thus creating the shadows that you see!
