On our recent trip to visit my daughter's family in Orlando I encountered this 'mystery plant' again...

the one I posted about in *this post!*

These plants are definitely of the same family (as in my original post) - although one's fruit grows much bigger than the other!

These small ones are like the ones we remembered  having seen in Miami!

LOL- Anyway- I don't intend to try eating either of them. They are interesting to see, though.

Here you see the smaller yellow fruit from my daughter's place...

...and the much bigger one we have growing here at our place.

The bright red seeds are the same in both and so I'll use this as my Ruby Tuesday offering!

We've had 2 of these 'Old Shoe' planters for a long time. I have them at our front entrance walkway.

I've tried growing real flowers in them but they dry out too quickly in our hot weather so I've started using 'fake' flowers instead.

I like that fine  and I change them with the seasons! These have been in for summer and I will probably just add some colorful leaves for the fall season! (soon)

This was taken several years ago.

As we were all leaving to go out a butterfly took a fancy to my grandson, Brian's hat!  :) I quickly got my camera and my husband got this shot! It has always been a favorite  of mine!

My cats are the only critter occupants on this old farm these days...except for the pasture of cattle down the road.

(Oh- but we do have occasional visitors, now and again...frogs,lizards, snakes,raccoons,possums-etc-etc-)
